My specialty is descriptive linguistics and sociolinguistics. For about 20 years, I have been conducting a descriptive study of Ma’a, a language spoken in a remote mountainous area in northeastern Tanzania. At OU Multilingual Plaza, I am mainly in charge of supporting self-directed multilingual studies, and hope to help students with different needs find their own optimal ways of language learning.

My specialty is Japanese language education. At OU Multilingual Plaza, I am mainly responsible for supporting international students in learning Japanese. I hope my experience of living in Thailand and Cambodia, as well as teaching Japanese, will be helpful for foreign language learners. I look forward to seeing you at OU Multilingual Plaza.
